Prevent avoidable failures in reman units with a simple
precaution.
When remanufacturing these units, we strongly recommend replacing the transmission oil pump. The pump is a sealed component and cannot be disassembled or repaired. Even minor internal wear can lead to:
- Low-pressure situations;
- Clutch slip faults;
- Parking lock control errors.
One of our customers recently experienced these issues after reusing the original pump during a rebuild. Replacing the pump from the start could have prevented these problems and saved significant time and cost.
To help ensure the quality and reliability of your remanufactured transmissions, we advise fitting a new oil pump as standard practice.
