OVERSIZE K3 CLUTCH CONTROL VALVE KIT 09G

Cause:
Oscillation of the K3 clutch control valve causes bore wear that prevents proper hydraulic actuation of K3 clutches.

Correction:
Recover hydraulic control and renew shift performance by reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized K3 clutch control valve kit.

K3 clutches in listed units are applied in 3rd, 5th and Reverse gears in conjunction with other clutch packs. As the K3 clutch control valve oscillates and strokes over time, bore deterioration results, which prevents proper hydraulic control of the K3 clutch pack. This can cause flares, slipping, erratic clutch apply timing, ratio codes, bind-ups, and burnt K3 clutches. Reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized K3 clutch control valve kit restores normal shift operation by re-establishing the hydraulic integrity of the K3 circuit.
