Symptoms:

Cause:
OE accumulator piston bumpers lose elasticity and take a set due to long term heat and fluid exposure.

Correction:
The Sonnax accumulator piston kit restores optimal hydraulic shock absorption and OE functionality to all the solenoid regulated circuits.

Overly firm up/downshift feel or harsh engagement can be a sign of deformed accumulator piston bumpers in listed units. The OE elastomeric (rubber) bumpers tend to take a set, resulting in loss of hydraulic damping. The Sonnax accumulator piston kit restores hydraulic damping with improved service life.
