Cause:
Bore wear allows critical converter/lube oil to leak to exhaust at both ends of the valve.

Correction:
This oversized lubrication control valve restores the correct valve-to-bore clearances and prevents future wear.

In ZF6HP21/28/34 (Gen. 2) valve bodies, severe wear of the lubrication control valve bore results in loss of converter pressure, cooler flow and critical lube feed resulting in overheating as well as bushing, bearing and planet failures. This oversized lubrication control valve kit restores the function of the lube control valve and limits oil loss due to a worn bore.
